- The Library is only be accessible by appointment.
- All appointments must be made at least 2 weeks in
advance of any visit.

- From Chatham centre ~ take the
A231 (Dock Road) to Gillingham, follow the A231 into
Wood Street, at the roundabout, turn left at the traffic
lights into Prince Arthur Road (B2004). The entrance
to the Museum is on the left.
- From Gillingham centre ~ take the
A231 (Brompton Road), turn right at the traffic lights
into Prince Arthur Road (B2004).

By Rail
There are direct rail connections from London Waterloo, London Victoria, London
Charing Cross, and Dover Priory
to Chatham Railway Station or Gillingham
Railway Station.
The Museum is next to the Royal School of Military
Engineering (RSME), Brompton Barracks and only a short
bus or taxi journey from either station.
Gillingham Railway Station is the closest
station, only a ten minute walk to the Museum.
