Library Research Service
The Museum & Library no longer run separate enquiries
systems. Library staff now work form the Museum offices.
The Royal Engineers Library undertakes a wider remit
of research than the Museum holding more reference material
on the Corps' history, military engineering and other
Corps activities. The Librarian can undertake research
on behalf of members of the general public.
HOWEVER, it is strongly recommended that researchers and enquirers visit the Library in person. Experience has shown that researchers get much more information from viewing the original material themselves.
If research is undertaken by the Librarian:
- There is a Research
Charge for the time taken.
- Unfortunately, it can take over 6 months before
information can be sent to you.
If a researcher is unable to visit material can be copied for a fee, please see the Reproduction Charges page for details.
To arrange a visit or speak to a Librarian please contact the Library at the address given under the Contact
and Opening details.
